    Intel D925XECV2 & Intel Q6600 - Can they work?

I got this new quad-core Q6600 processor recently. It's a socket 775 2.4ghz processor, but the snag is that my motherboard (the D925XECV2) doesn't claim to have support for the processor. Now, is this true even though it's the right socket, pin count, and within my board's FSB limit?
