Post 'Fox News refuses to run pro-Constitution ad'

    http://mediamatters.org/items/200712030002?f=h_top

Fox News has refused to air an ad produced by the Center for Constitutional Rights that criticizes the Bush administration for "destroying the Constitution" by the use of renditions, torture, and other tactics. The ad, "Rescue the Constitution," which is narrated by actor Danny Glover, can be viewed here and here.

In an email provided to Media Matters for America by the Center, Fox News account executive Erin Kelly told Owen Henkel, the Center's e-communications manager, that Fox would not run the ad:

    Hi Owen --

We cannot approve the spot with it being Danny Glover's opinion that the Bush Administration is destroying the Constitution. If you have documentation that it is indeed being destroyed, we can look at that.

    Sorry about that,
    Erin

In 2005, Fox refused to run an ad critical of then-Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito Jr., who had been nominated by President Bush to succeed retiring Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
I shouldn't have laughed at this, but it's so ridiculous I did.

The sad part is that the Bush admin and Fox take their orders from the same higher ups who control them. And these higher ups do it this way so the public blames either the right or the left and never look up above at the true evils that enslave us.

Govts are not managed by politicians, they are managed by banks and private corporations such as Fed Reserve, pharma corps, chemical corps, oil corps, etc.

These same "higher ups" also own the media. This is documented, traces have been done on corp structures all the way up and at the top are but 15-20 corps that own just about everything. This is not "conspiracy theory", it's just big business at work.

Want to know who owns Bush? Ask yourself who profits from war and all the industry connected to war.

CFR/TC, its members are made up of the CEOs of all the Major Banks, College & University Presidents, The Energy Companies ( Exxon, Shell, Mobil etc.) Major Automotive Companies ( Chrysler, GM, Ford ) The Media ( Basically 5 Mega Corporations ) High Government Officials, A lot of Politicians etc. Basically the Big Wigs of everything, and as TonyT said, it isnt a *Conspiracy Theory* as this information is public domain.

Private control of America predates said organizations.

BTW.... Tony, have you noticed how often wikipedia amends its entries? It is fine for general information, however it lacks the stability to be a proper reference for topics that are politicized.

I absolutely do not trust wikipedia for any concrete data.
I have little faith in an encyclopedia that anyone can create/modify/alter.
It is good for some tech data and usually includes links to the sources.
When I do real research I try to go directly to the horses mouth for info...or as close as I can get to it w/out getting bit!
