Cox Premier 20mbps and Dlink N xtreme DIR-566 problems

I have a 20 mbps service through cox and I am using a gigabit router. when I test the speed on my wired computer I get 20 mbps. When I conect my other computer thats about 70 feet away at the other side of my house on the same floor, I get 6-7mbps so I know its the router thats causing the problem or the distance. I have TCP Optimizer installed. Anyone care to help me?

I do not see the IP address of your router in hop 1. (192.168.xx.xx).
