Hi everyone. I have been playing Halo 3 since it came out a couple of months ago, I have a fast 6Mb connection and have opened the proper ports on the modem. Everything has been running grest until a couple of days ago when I would be mid game in halo 3 and it would shoot me out of the game and into the screen showing the players name, similar to when people quit, only I'm the only one seeing the screen the rest of the players are busy killing my stationary body.
It feels like being "stand bied" only I know this is not what it is as it only happens to me and it happens so often, about one in five games. Each time this happens it lasts between 1 and 5 minutes and I'm put back into the game with no lag or problems. When browsing on my computer the internet never seems to hang, nor do my downloads.
I don't download while playing halo, I also don't use a home phone so these things could not be the problem.
If anyone has any ideas as to what could be causing this and how to fix it I would love to hear them. Thank you!

I always thought that Xbox Live and such used Upload and not Download.
Just do what Amro said.
"I'm like a lion on the prowl after prey"
Thanks guys. The past 24 hours or so I have no problems, and I cant get any packets to drop using the ping -t google.com . Maybe the problem fixed its self. If it happens again I'll repost.
Thanks again!
