I've just switched from Bellsouth DSL to Comcast Cable. I used a Westell 327w DSL Router with my Bellsouth DSL, now I've read another guide on this website that tells me what to do, but I get stuck at the part where it says to switch PPoE to Routed...I don't have that option in my drop down menu with Bellsouth's Firmware version. Can someone please help me use my DSL Router as a router for my cable?![]()
P.S. Thanks in advance.![]()

Thanks for the help trogers, but I still get stuck at the part where it says to select routed. My Westell 327w uses Bellsouth firmware (software), so if n e one can figure a way for me to get around it, please inform me. Also if you can send me an image or software that came with westell 327w routers, I was thinking maybe if I revert the router back the non-bellsouth firmware, then I'd be able to use the "Routed" option.

It's not being properly used as a NAT'd gateway in that above example. Personally I'd look for a much higher performance router than those Westell units, as they will be a bottleneck for your Comcasts performance if you have PowerBoost in your area.
