    I can not ping

    Good Moring all,

    I have one question, sorry all but I'm new with these issue

    my question is this:- I have one finger print machine fixed out side my network, the problem is that I can ping to it static IP from its lan but I can't ping it from my network as main network. this remote side connected by DSL connection to my network.

    go to yours router provider/configuration. If the device is out of the network ,its duty of ruuter to auto configure the device.

    How is it connected via the DSL?

    You're always able to "ping"'s if you get a reply or not that's the indication.
