    Help with TCP optimiser

    Hi all,

Ive just bought myself a new laptop running vista and have a wireless router netgear DG834G.

When on the internet the pages seem to be loading quick enough if im using IE7 but if i use the AOL software it seems to be running very slowly. Also when downloading i used to get speeds of between 150-250kbs. Now i seem to be getting 50-60kbs max.

I tried running the tcp optimiser on here but it says i dont have correct privilidges to make the changes and to sign on as administrator. This is confusing me as i am signed on as administrator which i have double checked.

    Can anyone help me?

using the analyser i get these results which are all way over my head:- TCP Analyzer Results

TCP Optimizer cannot tweak Vista. It is self-tuning.

Your problem could be due to a conflict between AOL and Vista.

    Check the FAQs of AOL.
