Even though I'm not convinced that his enhancing drugs actually give him more eye to hand coordination in actually helping him hit the ball, that record will be forever tarnished.

I don't know if many people are doubting that Bonds is (or was) a great ballplayer, but many of us are quite saddened that a solid hitter has left a black mark on his own record by (allegedly) 'roiding up.
Yep, I happen to agree with that. I was only making a comment showing the other side of the coin. IMHO, even though I did comment on his ability to find the ball, I suppose I should also mention that if indeed it's shown that he's really doing enhanching drugs, and it looks like that's a given, then your more than right, that record is tarnished. After all, it would still give him an advantage in swinging hard and even prolong his involvment in the game, thus giving him more time to pursue the record.
