I own a couple of Benq monitors and they haven't let me down.
I'm retiring my Sony 21 inch CRT (Yay.. no more back pain when moving that puppy)
Looking for either a 15 or 19 inch LCD Flat panel, what companies do you guys recommend? Is "Vista Compatible" that important?
Thanks.

Im sitting here looking at 2 acers that haven't quit yet. Although one did come with 2 deal pixels. I have another acer and a samsung(came with a dead pixel) that keep on working too. I think all Vista Compatible means is the monitor is HDCP compliant which is important for HD dvd.
She's presenting like a mandrill!
Dell
Samsung
Benq
Viewsonic
CHIMEI
And maybe LG, they have some with real nice specs.
I have an ACER here at home and a Viewsonic at work. Dell makes very good ones also as I understand it.
I have been reading some good reviews on those Hanns monitors. I am getting ready to pick one up form newegg and see.
Sidenote: I believe CHIMEI panels are used in viewsonic monitors.
I don't know why everybody talking about Dell monitors. Dell is not an electronic company but it is just an assembling powerhouse with parts made by others and label their name on it.
Personally I will choose Samsung, before it was Sony but now they stopped producing LCD monitors. I don't know why.
Look for one with a S-IPS panel...The HP LP2065 uses this type of panel and I use one of them myself...Absolutely love it.
Here is some really good info on LCD's.
