Question Running Server 2003 scripts on Vista

We have 1 PC on the network here that has Vista Ultimate on it and it doesn't run scripts like XP and other OS' do when logging on to the network. Anyone have an idea why?

    Btw, UAC is disabled.

Try running the scripts in compatability mode, also you might have to have UAC enabled for the scripts to work, there are some things such as using a networked printer where UAC must be enabled.

Looks like it doesn't work either way when it comes to UAC. How do I run a script in compatibility mode? I know you can right click on files and do that, but the script is coming from the server so I am not sure how you mean?

I'm not sure Roody, but something else I thought of is making sure you allow this script to run as an admin, eventhough your account in Vista may have admin rights you sometimes need to run certian things as an admin.

It's currently set to run scripts for anyone logging on the network which is why I am confused the script isn't running in this instance.

    Thanks for your help man.

I haven't setup Vista on anything more than my home network but it does sound as if it might be the admin thing.

We bought a new PC at CompUSA when one crashed recently and it had Vista on it. Figured it makes a good guinea pig.
