halo3 beta release date finally!

Everyone, the highly anticipated demo, or beta concerning the Halo 3 Multiplayer Beta has finally been announced! Your times of waiting and anticipation will be answered on the date of April 15, 2007! (4/15/07) Those of you that are big, long time Halo fans I think will be exceptionally appreciative of this uncovered release date. Bungie announced this release date almost a week ago from now, and the lead designer for managing the multiplayer on Halo 2, and the aspect of working on the Halo 3 multiplayer said later that day: "I think that the release of this beta will help in more than one way, not only will Halo gamers and fans alike be able to play and discover a glimpse in the Halo 3 multiplayer gameplay, but they will also provide us with countless info about how we can work and improve the online play for Halo 3. We will be watching the forums plus other sources of ours to ensure that the Halo 3 experience will be a great one." he also mentioned that the Host problem on Halo 2 was almost unavoidable for Halo 3, but he mentioned that it would play a much "Smaller" role in the online gameplay as it did in Halo 2. Such as, no more or not as big of an effect with weapon host, and also the potential for host standby, bridging, and modding, will most certainly almost be impossible to pull off. Modding the Xbox 360 will be almost impossible anyways seeing that Microsoft has totally taken out the entire slot where modders put their chips on the regular first-gen Xbox. But as for standying and bridging, well, we can only hope. The assisstant designer for the online multiplayer for Halo 3 had this to say: "Not only will cheating be 'next to impossible' to pull off, we are also trying to get the feedback issue through and available for all players, and that we can assure our community that all and any cheater, no matter who, if they are caught, they will be disciplined." And on the last part of the meeting last week, reporters from IGN, TXB, 1UP, and Game Informer all asked how the community was expected to change for Halo 3 online. For the better? for the worse? The assisstant designer talked with us too on this matter, he said: "There is obviously NO way possible to have a 'perfect' community, theres so many types of people out there with so many different personalities, but hopefully with this new feedback system, players will leave feedback, and we can weed out all of the harassers, and dont forget the cheaters either." So in short, BEWARE AGGRESIVE PERSONEL AND CHEATERS, YOUR IN FOR A BIG AWAKENING FOR HALO 3. yeah.. not so excited about it one way or the other.. I pretty much heard it's gonna be more business with halo 3 beta.. trying to point out all the bugs, glitches and so on.. so it's not gonna be all fun and games..

from looking at the interview and designers of halo3 on the download of the marketplace, about the brutes? I think this game will be very interesting, the weaponsand shield bar look different. I may be a gears of war fan, but halo 3 looks interesting. Also they talked about the cheater and weapon hosts will be nearly impossible to pull off, that makes me feel much better about this new system there working on. Hope it works all for the best in halo 3 multiplayer.

for GOW ...there have been 3 or 4 patches including new maps and they didnt bother fixing the glitches ....

you know what i never thought about that until now! I bet they did know about the glitches but didn't bother to fix it. well I think that kids who master theses games and play for hours and hours they eventually find a glitch or accidently discover somthing. Every game is not perfect but i most definetly think glitches and superbounces wont be stopped, unless they bother to fix it or not. but in halo 2 they didnt really care to fix the superbounces. Some kids think they put superbounces on there purposely not sure. Gow was a great game until cheaters came in and glitch and its really stupid. It is turning into Halo 2. but i bet halo 3 will crackdown on the cheaters and the feedback system is suppose to be incredible for all gamers.

360 has been modded 3 months after launch, even kernel is now hacked so you can add as many HDD's as you want.

So, Microsoft is officially striking back to halt recent Xbox 360 hack-tivity after having been alerted to recent breach methods of the system's non-privileged memory areas, allowing users to run their own code. With potential homebrews beginning to surface, Microsoft concocted its own brew: a system-wide fix, or as it's officially dubbed, an "online system update," which doesn't mention the vulnerability patch or even what the update is for. The update was unleashed on Xbox Live, can be burned to a DVD or CD from the website, and ships with all games released after February 20. Unsuspecting hax0rz who fall victim to Microsoft's furtive "booyah" will be sent back to the drawing board -- and if they manage to find another loophole, they'd best think twice before installing a patch in update's clothing.
