Probably because the defualt voltage for ram is 1.8v, even though memory makers are making ram that needs 1.9-2.4v.
Dont sweat it, run the ram at the volts it needs.
Any idea why nvMonitor shows my memory with a yellow square? I thought it might be the voltage setting so I changed it to 2.1v. That didn't work so I manually set my timings (4-4-3-5). Still no dice.
This is on a BFG 680i motherboard. Latest BIOS & drivers.
Any ideas?
