    Nvidia drivers

the newer drivers [93.71] are great on my GTR2 game
the problem is - i have a dragrace game that i love to play online
[NHRA quarter mile showdown] anyways the nhra game wont let me use full screen resolution -second solution is it offers to play in a window but that makes the game in only half screen and that sucks
what i need is the way to change the newer controll panel to the classical controll panel so i can overwrite the default resolutions with the ones i need to play the game -i saw a link one time but cant remember where i saw it -
now loading the newer drivers was a definate boost in FPS in my GTR2 game but havent been able to use the newer controll panel to my likeing's
    any help would be appreciated
Nvidia g force FX 5200 card
i know its old but so is my p.o.s pci slotted system -
going to get a new pc after the NHRA vegas event so ill be cruizing these forums alot more as i get back into hard core BF1942 DC mod
which plays alot better than the older 67.81 drivers ive used for years ....

    holy crap i found it!

ForceWare 90 drivers use the new control panel by default. But unlike ATI CATALYST, you can get back to the classical interface of the control panel - you just have to open the View menu and then choose "Use Classic NVIDIA Control Panel".

wow google had the answer -

Why do you need to go to the old style view?

Can't you do that in the manage timings section?

Not sure I follow what you needed to do.

not all of them have this option as Nvidia is trying to get away from it... you will see what I mean on some drivers when you try them as I've tried all of them on the 90 series with Xp
