    Spyware Terminator?

I know this isn't the software section of the forums, but what the hey.. I'd like to have a general discussion about it. I need a real-time protection anti-spyware program, that's free, and this is the one I found at the top of the list. Has anyone used it?

My Ad-aware finds more than ten objects everyday. What the hell is going on? What website am I going to that is feeding me spyware? I don't browse porn sites nor warez sites. I browse mostly forums... I want to get a real-time protection program so I can know and kill it before it even infects my PC. I play on-line games, and I'm in denial right now about my Video Card. I paid $200 for my ATI x1600 pro and it's supposed to be working good, damn it. But my FPS drops insanely whenever I play CS. And it's like something is feeding off my connection, because the out: goes from 60/s to 23/s instantly. I've shut down all my anti-viruses and Firewalls to rule out my own programs.

Anyway, has anyone used Spyware Terminator?

A lot of adaware's stuff is just cookies.

Install spyware blaster and spybot, run spybot's immunize, those will help prevent spyware.

    You shouldnt need active protection.

    What browser do you use?

    IE 7, sometimes Firefox.

So Spybots immunize will protect me? Do I leave it running all day in my taskbar or something?
    Ad-aware just caught some cookies.

"Spyware Terminator" sounds like a program that will give you more spyware.

Spyware Terminator is actually a decent program, but as YARDofSTUF said, you shouldn't need real-time protection. Set IE to block 3rd party cookies and use cookie safe for Firefox, then do as YARDofSTUF suggests again by using SpyBot & SpywareBlaster.

LOL I looked in Internet Options for IE7 and I can't find where you can block 3rd Party cookies.

    Can you guide me please?
