    Vista Question

I'm looking to get a laptop and the guy at compusa said that 2003 suite will not work on vista and I'd have to go the 2007. I smell B.S. but, that sounds like something Bill would do. I tired google but couldn't really find anything about it. Can anyone help?

    Thanks

Also, I'm looking at a Dell 1505 2.0 dual core. Would I be better off with a toshiba of equal specs?

Office 2003? It's working fine on mine - has been for a couple weeks

what your salesperson may have neglected to tell you is that Office 2007 may not be backward compatible with earlier versions of Office ... I read that somewhere - I'm sure someone here can verify ...

Thanks, I figured he was talking out of his A$$ but didn't want to spend 1500 and find out after the fact.

    I like 2007 alot - it's that "non-compatible" thing that's got me holding off for a bit ....
