    MS word

Instead of installing all of office on a system, is it possible to just install word? If so, do I just browse the CD until I find it, please?

I selected custom would it still be saying windows configures MS office cause it sounds like it is installing all of office and I just highlited word?????

If you select just word I think it installs some basic office stuff and word, not all of office, but things liek quick start and fastfind(if they still use that)

I selected just word and it installed powerpoint, excel, front page, word. I deleted the rest because of limited space on HD.

You opted "Do not install" on all others..so in the menu they appeared with a red "X"? It should do that...I've done it countless times.
