Cool dumb question about floppy drives and making large files smaller

How do I break up a single file into multiple files if it is larger than 1.4Meg, so that I can put it on more than one floppy?

If I'm not mistaken, WinZip let's you span files across floppies.

Use either a file splitter or an archiver like Winzip, Winrar or Winace!

Or you can compress them to add more to them. Then when you need what you compressed. Just use the tool in windows to decompress them. Plus www.muchers.com has some good tolls for what you are looking to do.
