Arrow Is there something wrong? Plz Help...

Hi, I went for around a month with a really messy PC, installing things into the default directories, testing trial programs and virus scanners, I decided on the best and have now settled for my selection.

I did a total format, and re installed XP

I have NTL's Netguard as I feel it gives good protection but doesn't hog the system as I hate programs that do this.

I have tweaked my fresh install too by installing with CachemanXP also I use Registry Mechanic and also ATi Tray tools slightly overclocking my ATI x1600Pro AGP card.

After installing everything I wanted and removing all the standard XP junk i didn't want I did a brief check on all the directories and found c:\program files\Bonjour

I did some research on it across the Internet and mixed responses come up, some are worried its a virus and some say its an Apple program. I hate iTunes and I've never installed it onto my fresh Install, the only thing that may have put it there is when I upgraded to Windows Media Player 11. When I try to delete the directory it won't let me? - it says the mdnsNSP.dll is write-protected or in use. I tried deleting it in safe mode - same result. I was able to delete the mdnsNSP.exe file that was in the directory with that file.

I have Ie7 But that was on before I formatted and it didn't add it then, so I doubt its this.

I don't want it taking up resources as I don't need it and/or want it!? (although I'm not 100% what it does I've never needed it before!)
I don't want programs running in the back ground! I don't mind waiting longer for things to load 1st time off as long as it doesn't have a secret program hidden in the XP background. As sometimes during a computer session I may not load certain programs I have at all.

I was then concerned and did a few fee online virus scans, and decided to install "Trogen Hunter" as I thought this file may have been a trogen or a virus problem, after doing a scan with that it picked up a trogen elsewhere in my system. This concerned me as I have some very important info on my computer I DO NOT WANT to lose or have anyone accessing! I scanned my PC with a couple more programs - SpyBot s&d and an online virus scanner I forget the name of now.

Now I am not so sure NTL netgaurd is doing it's job although I love the fact it has not taken over my system, I do want it to work...

    I have 2 internal HDD

    1 - partitioned into 2 partitions - 1: c:\ - as system and e:\ - games
    2 - Just as downloads d:\

1 External HDD for all Music and Films.

Also here is a HijackThis list of my PC running as it would when i surf the net the only thing I have loaded is FIREFOX - which is running this page and HijackThis to get the log:

    cacheman is an unneseccary program.

The Bonjour folder shouldnt be an issue, it does seem to be apple related.
