    Bank icon

    Looking for an icon of a bank that I can put on my desktop and a news paper one as well. Where can I find some? Do any of you know of any links with these specific thing which are free?

    did a quick search on google images, i know who would have thought of that right? , and found a ton of good size bank images you could use as icons

    You also have the ones that come with Windows since the 95...even maybe the 3.x days....in system32.dll (early versions) and pifmgr.dll (WinXP)....there's one with a dollar bill...and one with a newspaper.

    in vista you can right click the desk top
    folder icon and pick a new one,no bank or newspaper,but there are alot of them as cat said.

    also,I would be real careful and weary about free downloads on google searches,but thats just me,

    How do I get into the pifmgr.dll to see all the different icons, please?

    Same as in the early versions of Windows...when you manually create a shortcut..you can right click it...properties...look for the "Change Icon" button. It will point to a .DLL..but you have that "browse" button which brings up the usual Windows Explorer and you can then manually point it to another bundled file.
