any1 ? please![]()
Im currently using comcast and i'm signed up using 8 megs ( they say the 12 wont be offered in my area..... lets put it for a long time lol ) , and im still feeling laggy in games, and slow speeds at various times of the day, on a non specific pattern. 1 problem I forsee is that i have a cable splitter/ 1 to my modem / 2 to my tv . Of course this would most likley cause a lack of maximum service. Can some one please help me with tweaking my settings using the TCP Optimizer version 2.0.3 . I'm new 2 all this.. and all i want is the best (dont we all).
any help will be appericated. P.S. Im using windows xp 64 edition.
Thanks in advance,

Do not seems to be a problem with your RWIN setting. Do a tracert and see where irregular ping times are occurring.
kk i did a tracert... this is what i got:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>tracert www.speedguide.net
Trace complete.
------- ANY IDEAS????

also did a speakeasy test :
Results :
Down: 8260 kbps
Up: 719 kbps
You should 'X' out the last 6 digits of your IP address in hop 1. Don't want a hacker to zero your comp:
1 7 ms 7 ms 8 ms 73.19.xxx.xxx
I do not see any problem in the tracert. And your speed is above normal. But if you experience fluctuations in speed or ping time within a short period of a few minutes, likely cause would be electrical noise from other nearby electrical devices affecting your modem. It is good practice to isolate your modem a few feet from other electrical devices.
