All written up. God I hate my job.
problem is finding anything else in this area that'll pay near what I make now. Until I do I have to stay where I'm at so I can make my mortage payments. Part of me wants to take the risk and just assume I'll find something but I don't want to risk my credit or my house.

Things could be worse. Take one day at a time, do the job you are being paid to do now, and polish up the resume.
You will be okay.![]()
Hi Humboldt
Hang in there and start resume mailing. Too much to lose by quitting without a fallback. I know the feelings your going through. Tough one.
Good Luck![]()

Talk to your creditors, let them know you may not be able to make a couple of payments, but you can pay the interest. Maybe get the payment schedule changed so you don't need to make as much money for awhile.
Every time I left one job for another it has been a better move. There is lots of work out there, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding another job.
Remember, you have to be happy before you can make anyone else happy.
Lots of luck
