    2003 server

Before one is able to install users on server 2003, you have to uncheck some feature. I forget where that feature is but it's there for added security. Can someone tell me where that feature is and what is unchecked. I appreciate the help.

    Thank you.

This a domain controller? You've run DCPROMO? I can't think of anything that needs to be done before you add users. Unless there's a new feature on R2....I've done a few R2 servers but not initial DCs..they've been added at DC's to existing directory.

yes, dcpromo was run and I think it's something under group policy but I am not sure what.

I can't think of anything related to GP that prevents me from adding users on a freshly installed server.
