Well before wiping it clean..perhaps try a few things.

    Updated drivers on all components...
    Good antivirus program, updated, scanned
    Good anti-ad/spyware utilities, cleaned

Anything you added recently like RAM? If so..was it fully compatible with your system?

What are you doing when it bluescreens?

did you update a video driver recently? I've seen some nVidia drivers cause this with some systems.

Also moisture in the Case, power supply not getting enough juice with something hogging the same 20amp line or something along those lines.

go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, System, Advanced Tab.. then down at the bottom for settings click that and uncheck Automatic restart.. this will cause the error screen to stay up so you can see whats causing it like a driver related issue or whatever then you can reboot it instead of it doing it itself.

yes a wire rubbing something to short it out.. and what your saying is your turning the computer on and off each day? so your hearing it "fire" up kinda like a car to idle position.. I leave mine on all the time.
