The V2 ATX power supplies with 24 pin conector with detachable 4 pin
Will they work OK on a 20 pin MB
I'm thinkin ordering this case as my PSU is messin up and i'm also having heat issues
MB is a P4P800 Delux with a 3.2 prescot

Ya theres no point in having the 4 extra removable if it wouldnt work.
If I was overclocking I'd want to double check the amps on the 12v line vs a reg 20 pin PSU.

Yeah most of them..if they have the 24 pin, you'd use the additional 8 pin. If using it in 20 pin configuration, use the additional 4 pin. The new power supplies will come with both. Also on them is a 6 pin for vid cards.Originally Posted by Chris
