I bought it for the PS2. Not a better football game for 19.99...its a shame that EA purchased the rights.

The PS2 version lacks many of the Sportscenter-themed highlights and halftime presentations that the XBOX one has, unless you had the PS2 HDD installed (NFL 2K5 was one of, like, 6 games that actually used the damn thing).

The gameplay is still 100% spot-on on the PS2 though.

Escort missions will give you loads of PP, and boost your rank. When you begin to get tips regarding the cult that's hanging around the movie theater, make sure you do those few missions. Each cultist is worth a chunk of PP and there's a hefty bonus for finishing the last one in that section.

Don't forget to take pictures as well. A good 300~1000PP per picture can add up fast.

If you don't mind a possibly tough boss fight for a low level character, check out the "Huntin' Shack" in the North Plaza (it depends on the time and date if you get a boss fight or not). There are a few shotguns, sniper rifles, and a ton of pistols that you can snag from there.

Also, each time you pass through the Paradise Plaza, don't forget to snag the uzi, katana, and a couple of Nectar shakes while you're there.

This the fight in the food court? Use a pillar or some other object for covering most of your body, but make sure your shots aren't being deflected by it as well. But when you find a good cover spot, stay there. Carlos will go running around and will enter your line of sight from time to time, so don't bother hunting him down.

If you have the Uzi and score a couple of headshots, it'll make the battle much quicker.

Brad can take care of himself to a certain extent, so worry about your own character's health more than his. You can always toss him a pizza (there's a small PP bonus for cooking one up) or something after the fight if you want him to have full health again.

Also, keep in mind that the game retains your levels and stats (but not your items) when you begin a new game. If you tell the game you want to start over after you die (instead of reloading your save game), you'll begin the game again, but at your current level. By the time you make it back to Carlos and Brad in the food court, you should be a couple levels higher than you were the first time.

Well, I've pretty much played it to death, but I still pick it up now and then for a little mindless fun (ie, skipping the story modes). But it's rare that I run into a game these days (console or PC) where, after beating it, all I want to do is start it all over again. RE4 was also one of those games.

Yep, once you hit a certain time (10:00 or so? I honestly can't remember what time), they start to be a little more aggressive, but there's also a trick to take out a pack of them quickly that you'll find out on your first night.

There really aren't any big monsters, just "boss" fights which are typically against a variety of psychopaths. Some of them can be pretty hard for a low level character depending on what weapons you have equipped, which is why it's always a good idea to have an uzi and a katana whenever possible (which is hard to do with the few item slots you start with).

Right next to the supermarket is a shop that sells a variety of bladed weapons (which are free for the taking, of course), so it's easy to stock up on katanas or swords. And with all of the food in the supermarket, as long as you can get away from the zombie horde long enough to grab some food (milk works well), you can heal up fast.

My advice is to ignore the food store for now (you'll find yourself in that area later in the game) unless a scoop leads you there.

This map may help you a little.

The gun shop is N127 on the map (in the North Plaza). Again, be warned that you may have to face a psychopath in order to get to the weapons.

You can find an SMG in the fountain in Al Fresco Plaza, on the blue fašade above the camera shop in Paradise Plaza (you can hop onto it from the staircase on the right side), and in the underground tunns (not recommended early in the game).

Man im sooo pissed.I cleaned up food market ...completely,not even one zombie,i think i killed 1000 of them over there. Then i'm gonna grab new katanas and heading outside but first i wanna visit gunshop ...ok that freaking psychopat kills me always. Ok ....going next door to hardware store and there are hanging bodys without head and there is next freaking psychopat,he is huuuuge completely covered in blood ...of course i'm dead right a way lol.So starting over this time im avoiding gun shop or hardware store and outside is waiting for me army jeep with freaking huge machine gun ...kills me and the girl in a second.I'm going postal lol
Btw i like more hunting knife then katana, its faster, more accuracy and doesnt break so fast. But of course it doesnt kill 5 zombies at once.I have to find a way how to kill the psychopats i'm level 7,i'm fast and i have good offense.
I love when there are like 60 zombies at one place, grabing my katana ,few swings and its clean

The tunnel key is in a maintenance room in the tunnels. Otis left it in one of the rooms, and there's another SMG there too. Once you have the key, you can easily go from the mall to the underground tunnels.

That being said, outside of one or two particular missions, there isn't much of a need to be down there, unless you're trying to rack up your killed zombie score.
