Our Great Justice System At It Again!

    UFOCKINBELIEVABLE!!

The 42-year-old will be committed to a state mental hospital, with periodic hearings before a judge to determine whether she should be released. If convicted of murder, she would have faced life in prison.

I was particularly shocked when I heard her ex-husband talk about how they "reminisce" about the kids when they visit.

...If only her ex husband and the clergy didn't push her beyond her mental breaking point to cause her to even consider this kind of action...

I'm not saying she's not guilty. I'm saying that I'm also placing the blame firmly on the breeders she lived around.

She needs to go to jail.

Agreed with above comment. if it was the man he'd be doomed.

It is unbelievable that you can admit to doing something like this and not die. Insane or not she should die. I don't care about her mental problems. Why should taxpayers have to pay for her to live out her days?

This is another example of how crazy our country is getting...

They need to get some juries with some balls. This chick needs to fry....

If this were my wife/sister/mother, things would have been taken care of a LONG time before she started drowning people.

I don't think these things just "pop up" from nowhere.

Since I'm more on the right than left, I believe she should be held accountable for her own actions. While others could have (should have?) helped, in the end, she f'ed up.

If she's nuts then who are you going to hang? Sara? Sue? Joan? Jay? I'd also like to mention that this isn't a political issue. Do you not think that "left of center" don't have the same ideas about this as you do?

Do any of you really think that at this point, she really cares what happens to her? She isn't sane.

Also.... Every state is different. In this one, if she were to ever be let out of care, she would then face a judge for formal sentencing.

I'm glad I wasn't on that jury. It sounds like one tough case to have to sit through.

she drown 4 diff kids right? drown her, perform cpr to bring her back, wait a week or so and do it again, and again and again. See how she likes that last week knowing that she will not be brought 'back'....

Again, I'm sure she doesn't care what everyone thinks should happen. I'm sure she could care less if she were drowned by the whole state of Texas.

    She's nuts....

I don't necessarily think she needs hung or put to death. However, I do believe that she should pay for what she did, and that doesn't include sitting in a nut house for a few years having "sessions" with a psych doctor.

I can't believe that there is a chance of her ever being free. That boggles my mind.

If she is insane and didn't know what she was doing then when they kill her she won't know what they are doing to her. She should get the death penalty, I can't believe she didn't...... she chased her children down while they were screaming and tortured them.... she deserves to die. I see things of this nature with my job as a Firefighter/Paramedic and I have absolutely no tolerance for people who abuse children and animals, they are defenseless and can't protect themselves.
