I need help exporting an Excel spreadsheet to a format that would easily allow me to insert all the data to a spreadsheet, anyone know how I can do this?

I assume you meant "all the data into a database", not spreadsheet(?)

Describe the workflow a bit - will this be manual or scripted? How and when will this occur (daily updates or one-time conversion/upload?)

CSV works well for most needs. You can INSERT the contents of a file using the comma as the delimeter.

EDIT: Try this if you are running MySQL 5.0 - http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/load-data.html
If you're using a different version, just search "load-data". If you are familiar with sql you should be able to figure out how to tweak their examples for your needs.

Got it - does my post above help? If not let me know what parts are not clear.

Yeah, looks like it'll work. If it doesn't, I'll let you know when I get to the office

Sounds like the FIELD delimeter is correct, but the LINES delimeter isn't - are you using a newline - \n ?

Post your script or PM it to me if you prefer. Which OS is mysql running under? Which version of mysql?
