    Any one here use Verizon Email ?

    Like from Outlook or Outlook Express?

    Having some strange problems today....

    I have one, I don't usually use it, but I just tested and it seems to work ?

    pop3, using Outlook Express... incoming.verizon.net / outgoing.verizon.net as the servers.

    ya.. those are thereown i'm using those new yahoo ones
    incoming.yahoo.verizon.net
    outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net

    they use 587 for outgoing smtp port too.. I think one of my sub-accounts is bunged, the other ones seem ok now

    I haven't changed the smtp port, just had to check "My server requires authentication" for outgoing mail to work.

    ya, if you have verizon's orignal setup you don't go thru the yahoo pop and smtp servers.. i changed my verizon account to the new verizon / yahoo deal so i could get thier free streaming video's.. ..all my other yahoo "pointed" email accounts are fine now.. with the exception of one of them.. it's really screwed up, cause I can access this account via web mail.. but not pop access thru outlook.. weird..



    no biggie.. I'm just glad my all accouts are back 2 normal.
