Thumbs up I found the yard sale deal of the month!

she took $300 for this table with leaf ,6 chairs, and it came with one of those hard top covers for it,

    it's in mint condition.

    very happy with it.

got it home and cleaned it up,
    it looks great!

Is the table and chair set an original or a reproduction. If antique, you could sell it here on east coast cities for about 2 g's.

The chairs look almost the same as the antique set my in-laws have had for some time. I just had to rebuild one of them. the only difference was the top of the back, rest of it looks identical

not sure ,I don't think they are antique,

but on the bottom of the chairs is burned in "H W HULL,GARDENA CAL,MADE IN USA"

either way,I'm very happy with the 300 price

That carving on the chairs is kinda a tip off, craftmanship like that died a while ago.

There's a word for that kind of ornate carving, can't think of it.

    Unsuccessfully googled the co. name...

Stuff only has to be 25 years old to be classified antique.

Imho, most likely is antique. A trip to a few antique stores might be enlightening.

    Nice find regardless.

I don't know they look almost identical to my chairs and they're straight from China.
