I'm with Kip and Burke...Something's fishy.. Hard to figure out how a pellet got to the heart from that distance and the size of the shot. If indeed it was bird shot.

The more I hear about this, the more it does seem fishy. I heard on the radio that a pellet moved at his heart and caused him to have a heart attack in the hospital.

Yeah, I heard that it migrated to his heart, not that it was lodged there in the first place. So if that is the case, then I don't see the conspiracy in this. Now if the pellet was lodged in there from the getgo, then yeah, something info may be being withheld.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (CNN) -- The fellow hunter who was shot and wounded by Vice President Dick Cheney has suffered a minor heart attack after a piece of birdshot migrated to his heart, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday.

    Humm..your quote....

I haven't heard that. What I'm reading is this......

Doctors believe that a 5-millimeter birdshot is lodged in his heart muscle.

"The birdshot was not ever in the chamber of the heart," said Peter Banko, the hospital's administrator.

Doctors performed a cardiac catheterization on Whittington, 78, inserting a thin probe through an artery into the heart. They found his arteries to be clear.

"If he had bad arteries, he would be at much greater risk," said ABC News medical contributor Dr. Tim Johnson. "His good health also means there's less strain on his heart in general, despite his advanced age."

I've got to ask...what about your statement of, "Who cares" from yesterday?

Really, just curious. I agree with you, this does seem fishy.

Perhaps, but there does appear to be a few oddities with the story. Heck, SG always needs topics for discussion. THis one is as good as any.

    be well,
