    Setting up a static ip address HELP!

    hi i have a etec pt3812 adsl router and am having problems setting up a static address on it for port forwarding could any one linik me to some tutorails on this, i have tried the static ip tutorial on but it is a general one for any router and i was unable top set up a static ip on mine .A tutorial specific to my router would help a lot .But ageneral tutorial for any router would still be useful

    Somewhere along the shoreline in New England
    Not specific to an Etec router...I've never come across that brand, but here's a static LAN IP guide....the workstation setup will be the same regardless of what brand router you have.
