    Setting up a static ip address HELP!

    hi i have a etec pt3812 adsl router and am having problems setting up a static address on it for port forwarding could any one linik me to some tutorails on this, i have tried the static ip tutorial on www.portforward.com but it is a general one for any router and i was unable top set up a static ip on mine .A tutorial specific to my router would help a lot .But ageneral tutorial for any router would still be useful

    Not specific to an Etec router...I've never come across that brand, but here's a static LAN IP guide....the workstation setup will be the same regardless of what brand router you have.
