Depends on the guys pay and the judge. Also any special needs the kid may have. It can range from 75 to 350 a week.

Yes its a per kid percentage and Yos is right about the judge. If you get stuck with a prick they can do what they want basically. Supposedly its supposed to go by your income and the other persons income as well, but thats not always taken into consideration either. The rates vary by state too I think.

a couple sites like this say with my financial #'s

"Under this scenario your monthly support order will be approximately $927 per mo." for 2 kids

    and this one
    "Results
Father pays Mother: $ 1000 per mo for 2 kids

Good luck with that. I graduated in 1990 and my father was giving out $800 a month for two kids.

By the way he was already retired. He had some money and a house but hardly any money coming in

Dude...just do not get nasty with the judge and bring all your tax papers and expenses with you. They can still make you pay more then what that calculator says and theres not a thing you can say about it really. My friend had a judge tell him to get another job even tho he was already working 50+hrs a week and she was making a good salary.

Yeah, judges can be straight up PRICKS! So as long as you go in there with a cool head and the right paperwork, you may get a fair deal.

What's a fair judgement when your talking about supporting kids? I think that most judges get it right.

Hard on the pocketbook but costs double when it's two roofs the kids live under. (Retorical)

The judge will also take into consideration any statements that the one receiving the child support renders....such as an acceptable, reasonable amount considered by both parents...not necessarily what has been suggested by the courts. Lets hope you are dealing with a reasonable adult in this case. The child of course being the most important factor. Best of luck to you!
