I've tried to tweak the "MaxConnections" registry value to a high # (1024) so that I'll be able to set a P2P client to handle about 400 connections per downloading task, and 2 tasks concurrently. At the same time leave some free connections for IE/browsing.

I tried to verify that by checking with "netstat -s" and looking at the TCP "current connections" #. I was always - around 350-400.
Is there any limitations for that maximum value in Win98 ? Or is there any other registry value that has to be set ?
