Can you post a changelog from RC2 please ?
It only has a couple of internal minor changes rafi.
The two I can think of that are visible to the user are:
* If MTU is changed by the user it remains the same in optimal/custom mode while switching between modes.
* If 56kbps is selected on the connection speed slider under optimal mode, MTU is changed to 576 (as it was in the 2.0.1 version). Also, if the program is started where the slider is at 56Kbps, under optimal mode, when you move the slider away MTU is changed to 1500 (or 1492 if PPPoE is selected) and RWIN is recalculated.
I have a problem with TCP.
I run it but it don't regognize my adsl modem (adapter), it allow me to choise only my LAN card.
Why this?
The modem is AccessMedia Fastrate 100 USB
I hope in your helptnx
How about adding DL speed test TAB in the next version ? It will be great to test your speed BEFORE and AFTER tweaking .
It might be similar to the latency tab, but the user will be able to configure a list of download servers (mostly - ftp) as well as download files names. The software will display as well as log the final speed results including ping to those servers.
The latency servers can be a base for that list, giving the option to "attach" that filename and select it's use for the latency and/or download tests.
This program sounds awesome, but I can't download it!![]()
Is there a problem with the server? I have tried numerous times from speedguide (both with a download manager and simply 'save as') Each time it gets stuck at 62% and then stops?!?
I've also tried downloading from every other source I can think of (downloads.com, CNET, Znet, freeware arena etc etc) with the same result (although I think all these sites just link back to speedguide).
Hopefully this is only a temporary glitch, I'll try again in a day or two![]()
The latest realease is now 2.0.3, please post any comments or issues in the new thread here: http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?t=192212
