    Computer Problem Question

I was away from my other computer for a second and it turned off by itself. Now it won't turn back on. I think there was a sudden spike/drop in electricity.

I opened the case up and touched and smell everything. Doesn't seem that anything is burnt. The light on the mobo is still on so I don't think the mobo is fried, I also think the psu is still okay since the mobo is getting the light. No matter how I press the power button it won't start up.

Could it be something with the power button/case? What do you fine folks think?! Thanks in advance!

I would unplug the power cord from the PSU and turn off the switch on the PSU (If it has one) for a few minutes.
