    Post [FF]Curious

I haven't seen a poll elsewhere conducted on this matter but just out of curiousity who here uses FireFox? Seems like a lot from what I've seen in passing.

Probably right about that but you do find the Opera users here and there now that it's free. Personally, I find FF outstanding to handle all of my browsing needs. And with the exception of those that aren't on board yet with making their websites FF friendly, that is really my main b1tch with the browser.

It has a cooler logo than IE

Try it, you'll like it. Imports everything from IE if you prompt it to, couldn't be more painless.

So your browser has never been hijacked by spyware/malware?

    Speaking of Plugs...

Allow me to shamelessly promote FF's sister...Thunderbird The email app that is taking over the world. I recently switched from Outlook & OE to T-bird b/c of an OE f*ckup and have not looked back since.

How do you know it hasn't been. Have you run any spyware apps such as Ad Aware

I recently jacked an unprotected laptop into the Net...no AV, no firewall, nothing. And browsed with IE. It took all of 5 minutes before the browser was hijacked and the system was hit with assorted nasties virii/worms. Maybe you just aren't paying attention or you restrict your Net browsing to this site, but I have difficulty believing that your browser has never been hijacked, particularly if you are on your system as opposed to say one at school or the ofc or a box that is secured by someone else.
