    Question WPA passphrase

I read that you can use only characters and numbers... so does that mean symbols like $%# won't work?

Mine was 9 characters only with 1 cap, 1 number, 1 symbol. When I tried connecting to my router I couldn't connect (got stuck on trying to obtain network address).

    Any ideas why?
