Question Firewall Protection of the RT314 out of the box

This question is about the Netgear RT314, although I will assume the answer is the same for the Linksys. If you take it right out of the box and set it up, what kind of protection are you getting from the firewall by default? I am up and running, but I know nothing of packet filtering or port forwarding or anything, but I would like to know if I am being protected at all right now. Any insight would be helpful..

    Thanks!!

Run "Test My Shields" and "Probe My Ports" from here.

I know that when I had zone alarm, I was in full stealth all the way across the board. Is there a way to attain this with the built in firewall on the router?

    Thanks!!!
