Monitor Screen Blank! Plz Help! Expert PlZ HElP!!

    Hi all,
Last few days,my monitor suddenly go to blank screen after install a games, the screen goes to flickering, and then less than 5 min my monitor goes blank and come out with non-stop of beep sounds, and the led of the monitor keep flashing. I quickly shut down the monitor and restart it, the problem goes back (screen blank and sound appears).

I decided to give up this monitor and change it to another old monitors. It works!!! I think my VGA and cable connection no problem. But after i switch to the faulty monitor, no more sound comes out and the LED is on, no more flashing.

Video Card - Plug and Play Monitor SIS 650_740 (No digitally Signed)(Build In)
MotherBoard - Phoenix Technologies LTD R01-E0
    Windows XP SP 2 - Intel (R) P4 2.40 Ghz , 504MB Ram

Can someone help me out?? Plz.... Thanks....

    10000 thanks..

    Regards

Sounds like your driver screwed it up.

Have you tried to boot up in Safe Mode and uninstalling the Video Driver and seeing if Windoze will give it a good one?

What game did you install before this happened?
Did the game install directX or any other utilities you can remember during the game install.
    Likely a driver issue.

    Oh, and welcome to Speedguide

Also, for poops and giggles, throttle down your refresh rate of the monitor.

That messed me up in the past.

hmm had this happen once before.. but wasn't driver related.. if you have pets or just haven't dusted the thing in a while.. take the cover off monitor.. hose it down with compressed air... put cover back on plug back in.. see what happens.. them Cert Monitors collect alot of dust and pet hair!
