    Need to see domains accessed

Is there a program that will allow you to see what domains are being accessed when you go to a webpage or use a program? I am trying to find out what domain a certain webpage is being redirected to but it goes by too fast to see in the status bar. I also need to use it to find out wht domain is being accessed by microsoft antispyware when it does its updates.

    Thanks

You could run "netstat /a" from a command prompt to see all active connections at any given moment. Also check out some of the other netstat command switches if you want to have it sit there and repeat on the screen. If you want to see it in true real time, you either need to sniff the traffic or have a firewall (software or hardware) with active monitoring.

On second thought, there is a little proxy program called Achilles that basically allows you to "look inside" a browser session as packets are exchanged. For ports other than port 80, you would still need some form of active monitoring or a packet sniffing app such as Ethereal or CommView.
