curious- why do you need/want a new mac address? Is your ISP account tied to a MAC?

i don't think thats possible. The MAC address is burned into the adapter. You can "spoof" a MAC addresss but as far as I know that's about your only option.

    Replace your NIC
or...if this pertains to your ISP and you have a router, replace your router or if your router supports MAC spoofing, enter the MAC of something like the NIC On your computer.

Thanks to all of you, i appriciate it! however, how might i go about spoofing the mac address. i seen online some tutorials stating that you must go into the registry, and edit some keys, but however, where can i find a new mac address to replace that one with? anyone know? thanks!
