Modem Power levels etc And Booster?

Ok just curious what is a good Downstream powerlevel for a SB5120

    Right now I'm at -3 to -4dBmV

    Signal to noise is 32dB

    Upstream powerlevel is 47dBmV

I've got a Motorola signal booster but its not hooked up.. I'm curious if hooking it up to this new modem will help the performance with adjusting levels.

No booster. Those levels are good. Boosters do nothing for your modem as far as speed goes.

also what is this booster you talk about?? Link please.

Thats just what we call an amp. And even though it is a two way amp you really dont need it. Honestly, you should have your internet connection off of the first two way you should have plenty of signal coming in. If you have bad signal after the first two way then you already have issues. Adding that booster will also add noise to the line. Your levels are good, dont mess with a amp on your modem. Just amp up your tv's.
