    Connecting a wireless to non wireless

    So today my brother comes home from college. So when he was away my house went wirless. He bought his laptop to college and it has a wireless card but his desktop isn't wireless. So I have a cross over cable and I was wondering if I can connect his Desktop and his Laptop so his Desktop gets internet. If it can than plesae give me step by steps

    If your house went wireless, did you put a wireless router in? Just plug his patch cable into one of the built in switch ports on the back of the router.
