    How to open newsgroups?

I was going through my ISP's site it said it had a newsgroup, I entered the address in my browser it says connection refused. I was wondering if there is a program I need to use to open it, someone said something about a newsgroup reader but I don't know how to work them. So does anyone know of an easy newsgroup reader?

I'm having troubles with these .rar files, I downloaded all the parts but when I open one it says unexpected end of archive. If I ignore it and try to extract the files it says it's a corrupted file.

Try another group of .rar files. It may be just an error with that file.

you'll need the par files. They should be at the end of the post when sorting headers by subject. Then use a program like QuickPar to repair.

Every file I have downloaded hasn't worked, I download all the PAR2 files, open them up in QuickPar but I still need lots of blocks.

make sure you get all the .rar files if you can, they are usually numbered so you can see how many there are.

sometimes there is a .nfo file, open that with notepad to see what it says.

That could also be the number for each rar file. For instance, a large file would be broken down to 54 parts. You not only need all 54 parts for each rar file but you also need most of the rars....
