It is the liquid in the over the counter temporary dental cement. Handle it with care. Your best bet is to see a dentist.

Red Cross puts out a toothache kit with oil of cloves, small cotton swabs, and even a mini pair of tweezers..just for that purpose...works great for a temporary relief...until you can get it taken care of properly

i am doing much better now...pain subsided....though i still need to find a dentist.
I might go back to my old one...though he 1.5 hours away...i might just take off it...

Well I got an appt with a dentist here in the city who takes my insurance in 15 min...
no clue how they are...i really hate going to dentists dont know anything about and just randomly picking..but aty this point dont think I have a choice.

I would come to you but it pretty far from me.
well just got back better then I thought it be. I really like this dentist and he is only 100 feet from my office.
He said i dont have a toothache, but my gums aournd this tooth is very swollen around the tooth itself. He said it is because whoever filled this tooth last time did a very poor job, and lots of food particales got stuck in middle. I did know that because man time i would feel something go in but i had hard time getting it out.
So he cleaned it out as best as I could, gave me penicillin and vicoden to hold me over.
And in 2 weeks going to see hygenists, he said he cannot fix the filling until the gum has healed.
I like him a lot very thorough good bedside manners and very easygoing. This be my new dentist
I understand.
Unfortunately, the only dentists I know in the city are (exceedingly high) fee for service.
