DI-604 with 2 PC's Connectivity Issue

I recently formatted my 2nd computer and reinstalled windows ME on it. Then I decided to upgrade the firmware of my DI-604 router to 3.51 and all that happened was my 2nd formatted computer ends up not getting anything at all. No internet. I can't even ping my lan! I reset the modem to default setings and inserted PPPoE settings and still nothing on my 2nd computer. I am currently posting from my first computer which is the only computer with internet access. Also on the router when I check out the DHCP settings It detects the other comp but it has nothing filled in except a mac address of A5-A5-A5-A5 well...you get the point.

The router comes with software to load on the PC.... have you loaded it for setup?

is the winME machine set to obtain an IP address automatically?

what do you get when you run winipcfg?

yeah this is true also... shut down the comp and restart it. It prob needs to have everything updated.. I did the same thing as updating the firmware and I had to restart everything to get it to detect the settings. Also as he said make sure you have the options set to Obtain an IP address and Obtain a DNS.
