    600 point benchmark

I have 3 computers that run I know how fast they usually run a 600 point protein. Here is the benchmarks or time per frame:

    2.4ghz intel - 45min per frame

    2.6ghz intel - 40min per frame

    fx-55 (2.6ghz) - 24min per frame

I really didn't expect that much of a increase in speed.

    Now, Fold on.

    Cya,

32 min a frame on a 600 pointer with hyperthreading enabled and two Fahs running.
Havn't checked it with only one Fah running and Hyperthreading disabled

    FYI.............

    AMD 64 3200 shows the 9130_RIBO at 32:31. Single instance of F@H.
They told (us) to open up the Embassy, or "we'll blow you away." And then they looked up and saw the Marines on the roof with these really big guns, and they said in Somali, "Igaralli ahow," which means "Excuse me, I didn't mean it, my mistake".

I've also read some discussion that the new 'dual channel' RAM causes a substantual increase in folding speed also.

It looks as if the days of the 600 pointers have ended, for now.
