Um, just curious why you would use ICS when the router's NAT will let you share you internet connection with any PC connected to it's LAN ports.![]()
Hi,
I am getting very frustrated and need help to set up ICS over the wireless network I created. I have a DLink 624+ router and all computers are networked. I have enabled ICS and had to change the router ip from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.2 so it wouldn't conflict. The client computers will just not connect to the internet even though they are connected to each other. How do I make them use the internet connection?
The internet works fine on the server but not on any of the wireless clients.
Please help me!!!
Much appreciated,
Nathan.

You don't need ICS with your router. The router/gateway performs the same function as ICS.
