Angry when i send/sometimes upload it disconnects read on...

Damnit! I keep trying to send things to pepole over icq it keeps saying other side as closed connection! and they never did anything!

Also, when I run an ftp its like it keeps stopping ppl's transfers (if they're downloading from me)

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Well you forgot to tell us your configuration so we could try to help you.

    I'd assume...

#1 you have a Cable/DSL router of somesort and its not set up for file transfers very well.

#2 You have some sort of Software firewall interfering.

#3 You are sharing an IP address with another @home user. ATT @home is now DHCP, although you still have a static IP address, You may have been assigned a new IP Address.
Call Tech Support and ask them to verify your "Computer name" and your "Current TCP/IP setup" !!!

If you would like me or other to try and help, you should try to answer the 3 items I posted above.

If you have a broken leg and go to the doctor and say somethings wrong, b ut don't let him see any part of you......
Do you think he can help?

You need to open up and give us more information particular to your setup.

In particular, any Hardware routers or software firewalls.
