Are you having any issues with your signal now? The DI624 has an excellent wireless range, if you aren't having any issues don't do a thing.

I have a d-link 624 wireless router and a d-link 5 port switch I have them all mounted in a networking box in the garage, my living room ceiling is about 25ft from this I was thinking the best way to get the best signal would be to bring the antenna down from the living room ceiling. Do they make antennas with this much cable? Or should I just get a 5-6db antenna and mount it on top of my networking box?
BTW I read quite a few reviews people have better luck putting the antennas on their wireless pci cards rather than the wireless router.
Thanks for any help/

But in my current house I am going through like 5 walls, and about 45ft. I have the d-link pci wireless card DWL-G520 2.4G.
But again haven't seen what the signal strength is at my new house yet. It will be mounted in the garage, and it will go through like two walls but only like 25ft.
But curious do the sell antennas so I can mount my wireless router in the garage but run the antenna about 25ft and mount it to the top of the ceiling(bringing it down from the attic)
Thanks
